Bio: Douglas McClendon

Someday I intend to put up a nice general public outline of my life. For now, I'll wrap it up as - born, raised, and educated in the excellent town of Lawrence, Kansas, U.S.A. Then after dropping out of college, I spent six years working in silicon valley during the tail end of the bubble. Then I came back to Lawrence and finished my degree in CoE at KU. Then a one year stint back in the valley at VMware (a hardwalled office in xerox-parc even). The inauguration seemed like a good/crazy time to quit and pursue the Guitar-ZyX dream during the GD2. So I moved to cheaper digs at the foot of the rockies, but still a mile high. There I worked on GZ-0.3.1 through GZ-0.5.0, and was quite happy with the results. Not finding work in the Denver area, I moved back to Lawrence once again. After a little more than a year there, the next phase of my life and carreer is finally, finally about to begin :)
